More rain today...

We had another thunderstorm this afternoon: half an inch. The lawn seems to need mowing every four days, which is astounding this time of year; in a normal season, the landscape is fried, waiting for September to bring relief.

Here's what the rock garden looked like very early this morning:

  1. Oh Yvonne this is such a wonderful scene! I just love that hydrangea. I have 2 pinky winky new this year but they didn't grow very much. They are quite small...any advice for me?? I've never had a hydrangea, I want to do the best I can for them.
    Cheers!!

  2. Hi Eve: Patience, if the plants are small they need time to grow. If it's dry, make sure you water deeply and weekly and they should establish.

    Cheers, Yvonne
