Yes, got lots today. I was just out with the snow blower for one and a half hour. I don't know how you did those pictures, but they are just BEAUTIFUL - I would like those mounted on my wall in the livingroom.
Hi Salix: Thanks, there is a trick to these pictures. They are done by moving the camera quickly in a swiping motion, usally up and down. You need to use an SLR, and you have to use a low shutter speed. I added a neutral density (dark) filter to slow it even more. I took about 300 images, and maybe 20 are nice, and two might be good enough to print. It takes practice, but it's really fun. My favorite swipe image from the fall is here: http://www.betterphoto.com/gallery/dynoGallDetail.asp?photoID=7789327
I can understand why that is your favorite. Is that from the same group of trees? I was never that interested in photography, but lately I have wished to take more photos. We just have a small pocket camera (a small Canon PowerShot S230) that we bought many years ago. I hope to buy an SLR this year and learn just a little bit about taking good photos. When I am ready to get my camera, I hope that I can ask your advice.
Thanks so much for visiting this site. I have a new country garden blog and I will no longer be publishing comments at this blog. If you have a question or comment about the topic here, please use the contact form at my new blog to get in touch with me.
