I almost have to pinch myself. It's mid-summer and it's not dry. We had another thundershower yesterday which brought 3/10ths of an inch again.
This is what the garden looks like now.
For gardeners with acreages & those who just wish they had a bigger canvas...

It's beautiful Yvonne!!! This is the first year in as many as I can remember that it was not brown and depressing!!! Let's enjoy while it's here!! I love your metal sunflower!! Tell me about that!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Eve. The metal flower is by Floyd Elzinga, a Niagara area artistan. See http://apps.fluidmedia.com/artifice/fmiportal.asp?WCI=ViewCategory&WCE=558&x= for more info
ReplyDeleteOh, what beauty. Mother Nature sure has been kind to our gardens this year. I garden on a hillside that dries out rapidly and the grass normally browns by this time, but this year it is still nice and green, the weeds are too though, so have to keep after them. Thanks for sharing your garden with us.
